'Life' In Byker
The north-east is getting a much wider choice of films and better cinemas due to the massive expansion programme of the Classic Group.

They have recently opened the first triple cinema in the north-east at the Apollo, Byker. It is cheaper than most in N/cle, more comfortable and easy to get to. The programmes are varied to suit most tastes but if you're still not happy there's always the bar (for patrons only). If that's not enough, on February 5th Classic are opening a new Tatler Club next door to the Apollo, which will show uncensored films.

They still have the Tatler Club in the Haymarket and the Classic 'twin' in Westgate Road, plus cinemas in Whitley Bay, Monkseaton and Blyth. The latter is soon to be a Tatler Club four days a week. They also plan to open another triple cinema at the Capitol, Low Fell. So whether it's a good 'skin flick' or a Walt Disney you want to see the chances are it won't be far away.
